Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All cases already taken medication and having done prior treatment for dysmenorrhea will be considered for study after washout period of previous medication. 1. Both unmarried and married (fulfilling diagnostic criteria) cases will be included. 2. Cases between age group from 2 years of menarche to 40 years will be included. 3. Cases irrespective of their menstrual pattern but with normal menstrual flow and diagnosed as primary dysmenorrhea.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Cases with severe pain (grade III) will be excluded. 2. Patients having congenital anomalies of uterus leading to dysmenorrhea. 3. Patients on hormonal therapy and Oral Contraceptive pills. 4. Patients having any uterine pathology of secondary dysmenorrhea like fibroid, adenomyosis and endometriosis. 5. Patients suffering from acute uterine infections. 6. Patients suffering from Pelvic inflammatory disease.
