Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults aged between 18- 65 years. Patients with bilateral single missing teeth in the posterior mandibular arch. Patients with adequate bone height and width to accommodate implant of appropriate dimension. No history of systemic conditions that may affect implant healing. Patients with Good oral hygiene

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with ongoing periodontal disease or active oral infections. Smokers or individuals with habits that may interfere with implant healing. Patients requiring simultaneous bone grafting or sinus lift procedures. Patients with history of radiotherapy.

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the insertion torque of two different implant designs using calibrated ratchet. To evaluate and compare the crestal bone levels in two different implant designs. To assess and compare peri- implant health using Modified Gingival Index for two different implant designs. Timepoint: To assess the insertion torque at baseline of two different implant designs. To assess and compare the crestal bone levels in two different implant designs at the time of implant placement, 3rd, 6th and 12th month post implant placement. To assess and compare peri- implant health using Modified Gingival Index for two different implant designs at 3rd, 6th and 12th post implant placement.
