Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Children having chronic irreversible pulpitis involving 1st and 2nd primary mandibular molars 2 Children having symptomatic/asymptomatic irreversible pulpitis and/or pulpal necrosis involving 1st and 2nd primary mandibular molars 3 Teeth with furcal radiolucency 0-2mm in mandibular primary 1st and 2nd molars 4 Children with 2/3rds of root structure present with irreversible pulpitis in mandibular primary 1st and 2nd molars(AAPD guidelines) 5 Children who exhibit cooperative and potentially cooperative behavior i.e Frankel 2 and 3 and do not have medical physical or learning disabilities

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Children whose parents did not agree to participate in the study 2 Children with extreme behavioural problems during restorative care appointment(elicited from history/previous records) 3 Non restorable tooth 4 Calcified pulp chamber periapical lesion periapical cyst and contributory medical history 5 Teeth with radiolucency more than 3mm in mandibular primary 1st and 2nd molar
