Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients above 18 years and who give their consent to be the part of the study will be included . Patients with any form of areca nut chewing habits (with or without tobacco) will be included. Participants without a history of areca nut chewing with tobacco and without tobacco and without any oral lesions or changes will be included as control group for comparative analysis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who are not willing to participate will be excluded from the study. Patients with limited mouth opening for detailed oral evaluation and the patients who are not cooperative or oriented to provide habit information and clinical examination will also be excluded. Emergency cases like trauma or patients with any mental or physical abnormality or any systemic disease that will hinder or affect the study procedure will also be excluded from this study
