Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Radiological degenerative changes in lumbar spine Patients Patients having sign and symptoms of Katishoola according to classics Patient willing and able to participate in the study Chronic low back pain more than three months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of any fracture of vertebral joints/surgical/diagnostic intervention with reference to affected joints Gross disability in performing daily normal routine I.e.bedridden patient or confined to wheelchair Patient with co morbidities such as gouty arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis,psoriatic arthritis and tubular arthritis Degenerative disc disease may lead to spinal stenosis (narrowing of spinal canal),vertebral instability

In present clinical trial, the patient was diagnosed on the basis of signs and symptoms described in ayurvedic texts I.e. subjective criteria Pain in the low back regionTimepoint: 0th day,8th day,15th day and follow up after 2 weeks
