Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 10-12 years old school age children who show willingness to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with diagnosed neurological or developmental disorders (e.g., cerebral palsy, developmental coordination disorder, autism, or ADHD) affecting handwriting or motor skills,Participants with chronic illnesses or conditions impacting BMI or motor performance (e.g. , diabetes, muscular dystrophy),Children who have undergone structured handwriting or motor coordination training within the last six months, Recent injuries to the hands or upper limbs that could interfere with grip strength or coordination.

MeasureTime frame
Children with better hand grip strength and higher hand dexterity show improved handwriting skills. Higher BMI, especially obesity, may negatively impact handwriting by reducing fine motor control and endurance. Hand dexterity is found to be the strongest predictor of handwriting quality. Overall, good strength and dexterity support better writing performance in school-age children.Timepoint: Single time point
