Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Government and private school going children 2. School Children of aged 12-18 Years. 3. School children who have habit of smokeless tobacco use. 4. School children who are willing to participate. 5. School children whose parents agree to give consent for their child.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Non tobacco user. 2. School Children who have habit of smoking tobacco. 3. School Children who have habit of both smoking and smokeless tobacco. 4. School Children who are not systemic healthy.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The result will give an insight of comparison the effectiveness of individualized versus group motivational therapy for the cessation of smokeless tobacco among school children.Timepoint: Baseline, 3 month, 6 month

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The study result will help in prioritise public health initiatives focusing on increasing awareness of tobacco cessation by motivational therapy in comparison to pharmacotherapy. The study result will also help in implement strategies to organize tobacco cessation programs in school on specific intervals. Timepoint: Baseline, 3 month, 6 month
