Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: patient of age group 6to 12 years with parental consent. patient requiring extraction of primary tooth due to pulp necrosis, irreversible pulpitis & extensive loss of crown structures. patients with no prior experience of LA. The tooth to be extracted is free of active inflammation or active infection in peridontium , so that the efficacy of local anesthesia is not affected. Patients with frankel behaviour rating 3or 4( positive or definitely positive) & minimal anxiety Patients belonging to ASA1 group and with no history of allergy to local anesthetic solutions.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with special health-care needs Patients allergic to LA Patients with history of seizures, cardiac arrhythmias or pacemaker treatment. Patients who were taking any over the counter or prescription pain medication for the above mentioned issues. Patients with peripheral vascular disease, Raynaud s disease, urticaria, and hypersensitivity to cold
