Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male or female individuals aged 18-50 years. 2. Patients without any medication with in past 7 days. 3. Permanent Mandibular First and Second Molars diagnosed with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis. 4. The preoperative pain score more than 54mm on the 170mm Heft Parker Visual Analogue Scale.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with non-vital teeth, root fracture or cracks. 2. Subjects having teeth with periodontal probing depth of more than 3mm 3. Mandibular molars with more than 20 degree curvature, narrow calcified canals. 4. Patients who consumed analgesics 12-24 hours before the primary root canal treatment.
