Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children belonging to ASA I and II posted for elective surgery Children being intubated with cuffed ETT Children aged between 5 to 12 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children posted for airway, nose surgery Children with history of difficult airway, multiple intubation attempts Children with airway pathology laryngeal or tracheal masses or anomalies Children with bronchial asthma Children with known allergy to local anesthetics

Rate of Intra-cuff pressure adjustment required in both groupsTimepoint: Intra-cuff pressure measured every 15 minutes in first hour and every 30 minutes thereafter during surgery;Post-extubation hemodynamic changes : 1.
