Intervention1: smartphone based thermal imaging: perfusion assessment of flaps will be done by both clinical judgement and smart phone based thermal imaging assessment flap will be modified , if need

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 18 - 75 years. Eastern Clinical Oncology Group- Performance score (ECOG-PS: 0-2) Biopsy proven- Squamous Cell Carcinoma, non- metastatic head and neck cancer Undergoing surgery with curative intent and planned for reconstruction using any pedicled flap

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Medical conditions that could alter tissue temperature such as acute inflammation, osteomyelitis, peripheral vascular disease or vasculitis, chronic kidney or liver disease, cardiac dysfunction, or the intake of vasoactive medication (beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, and nitroglycerine) unfit for surgery

flap related complication like flap loss, dehiscence , infection ( incidence comparison in both groups )Timepoint: within 30 days & at 6 months of surgery
