Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients belonging to ASA category I/ II. 2. Patient should be in the age group of 18-50 years. 3. Permanent teeth with deep caries that are restorable and present with probing depth and mobility within normal limits. 4. Diagnosis of symptomatic irreversible pulpitis without apical periodontitis in permanent molars.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Medically compromised patients (with immunosuppressive/systemic diseases, patients on medications) and those who used non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) 24 hours before the treatment. 2. Teeth with immature roots. 3. Pulpal necrosis (Partial/ Total), presence of sinus tract or swelling. 4. Non restorable teeth, calcification and resorptions.
