Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA I and ASA II BMI less than 30

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Bleeding disorders Hypersensitivity to local anaesthetic agents Infection at the Injection site Psychiatric illness Chronic opioid use

Measure	Time frame
To evaluate the efficacy of the ultrasound guided thoracolumbar interfascial plane block in patients postoperative pain control in patients receiving thoracolumbar fascial plane block in patients undergoing lumbar spine surgeries (TLIF) .Timepoint: At baseline , Intraoperative for every 15minutes , postoperatively in immediate postoperative period at 4,8,12 ,24 and 48 hours after the procedure.	—

To assess the following parameters in the adult patients undergoing lumbar spine surgeries in both the group 1. To compare the time of first analgesic in each group 2.To compare the total opiod consumption over 24 hours in both the group 3.To compare the patient satisfaction in terms of postoperative pain releif using the NRS pain scaleTimepoint: 1 At baseline 2 Intraoperative for every 15minutes duration postoperatively 3 At 0 4th 8th 12th 24 & 48 hours post procedure.	—
