Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Adolescents between the age group of 13 to 18 years 2 Adolescents enrolled in selected schools of Delhi-NCR 3 Adolescents who understand English or Hindi language in which the study tools are provided

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Adolescents with known chronic illnesses or on medications that may affect blood pressure 2 Adolescents suffering from marked physical disability which may impair evaluation of physical activity level

To assess the prevalence of hypertension among school going adolescents residing in Delhi- NCR.Timepoint: Immediate assessment of outcome.

MeasureTime frame
1)To study the risk factors associated with hypertension among school going adolescents residing in Delhi- NCR. 2)To determine the level of awareness regarding hypertension among school going adolescents. 3)To determine the association between awareness regarding hypertension among school going adolescents and selected demographic variables. Timepoint: Immediate assessment of outcome.
