Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Correlation between aggressiveness of HNPGs based on clinical characteristics and amount of superoxide ions produced in tumor cells measured by staining with MitoSOX reagent Timepoint: Intraoperative sample will be preserved and later processed in batches as per availability of MitoSOX dye. Preoperative and post operative status will be assessed one day prior to surgery and on discharge.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To find relationship between aggressiveness and anatomical variant of head and neck paragangliomasTimepoint: ;To find relationship between aggressiveness & anatomical variant of head & neck paragangliomasTimepoint: Intraoperative sample will be preserved & later processed in batches as per availability of MitoSOX dye. Preoperative & post operative status will be assessed one day prior to surgery & on discharge.
