Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients scheduled to undergo surgery under general anaesthesia. 2. American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I II
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Refusal to consent 2. Anticipated diffculty in mask ventilation . 3. Full stomach 4. Known gastro-oesophageal disorder 5. Nasogastric tube 6. Pregnancy 7. Body mass index (BMI) more than 30 kg per square meter.
