Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Newly diagnosed MDD patients with moderate to severe depression as per Beck’s Depressive inventory (BDI)16 and ICD- 11 WHO guidelines. -Patients willing to give Informed Consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Patients with BDI score lesser than 21. -Pregnant and lactating females. -Patients with bipolar disorder. -Patients with other psychiatric disorders. -Patients with other debilitating disorders. -Patient with other intellectual disorders. -Patients of substance abuse disorders.
