Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA Grade 1 and 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient refusal 2.Patients aged below 18 and above 60 years 3.Patients with risk of aspiration 4.Smoker 5.Patient with Recent history of sore throat or URTI 6.Malampatti grade(MG) greater than II and patients with allergy to zinc were excluded from the study 7.Pregnant patient 8.Traumatic or more than one attempt at intubation also lead to exclusion from the study.The presence of traumatic intubation in form of blood in the oropharynx was visually confirmed. 9.Coagulopathies
