Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Pediatric patients aged 4-7 years coming for elective surgery 2)ASA grade I and II 3)Minor or intermediate surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Developmental delay 2)Anxious parents refusal to participate 3)Surgery on hand affecting ability to draw 4)History of impaired vision or colour blindness as assessed by ISHIHARA chart

To see correlation in pain intensity between drawings done by pediatric patients and FLACC scoreTimepoint: Time points - the drawings will be assessed after completion of sample size ( after 3 months) by Child psychiatry Each participant will be given a coloring book (blank pages) and set of 12 colors and asked to just draw . The drawings will be done on the day of admission, prior to surgery and for 3 days post procedure. The parents will be requested to guide the children to draw at fixed times during the day i.e. 10am and 6 pm. The FLACC score will be recorded at 9 am and 7 pm	—
