Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Age more than 65 years 2 Patients conformed to American Society of Anaesthesiologists ASA physical status I to III in preoperative assessment 3 Patients undergoing fracture femur surgeries like proximal femur nailing femur interlock distal femur plating 4 Duration of surgery around 3 hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Inability or refusal to follow the study protocol 2) Coagulopathy 3) Sickle Cell Disease 4) Pre-existing lower extremity neuromuscular disorders 5) Local infection over the injection site 6) Allergy or contraindications to the drugs used in the study 7) Patient with spine deformity 8) Patient with previous spine surgery

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To look for intra-operative hemodynamic stabilityTimepoint: 5 minutes post spinal anaesthesia, every 10 minutes till 30 minutes then every 30 minutes till end of surgery
