Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients aged 20-65 years. 2. Patients with stage I and stage II hypertension. 3. Patients diagnosed with hypertension and on antihypertensives. 4. Newly diagnosed hypertensive patients.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age below 20 years and above 65 years. 2. Patients having hypertensive retinopathy 3. Emergency hypertensive patients. 4. Known secondary hypertension. 5. Patients with ischemic heart diseases. 6. Patients suffering from major systemic illness necessitating long term drug treatment (rheumatoid arthritis, psycho-neuro disorders, etc.) 7. Pregnant or lactating women. 8. Patients or relative unwilling to give written informed consent. 9. Known allergies to study drug ingredients.
