Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients between 14 - 60 years with clinical diagnosis of verruca vulgaris. 2.Females of childbearing age group who have undergone sterilization (tubectomy / hysterectomy/ bilateral oophorectomy) or who agree to use dual modes of contraception, (IUCD in female and barrier method in male partner ) 3.Patient with a recurrence of verruca vulgaris.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnant females / females planning pregnancy / breastfeeding mothers. 2.Immunosuppressed individuals (HIV/patients on steroids or other immunosuppressive drugs) 3.Known hypersensitivity to synthetic / natural vitamin A.

MeasureTime frame
1. Resolution of lesions in terms of decrease in number and size 2. Total duration of therapy Timepoint: total duration of treatment is until clearance or maximum up to 12 weeks and follow up is 4 weekly

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
assessment of adverse effects like cheilitis dryness of mouth & eyes headache nausea vomiting menstural irregularities constipationTimepoint: will be done at every follow up visit 4 weekly
