Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Clinical Symptoms: Children must exhibit a minimum of two or more of the following clinical symptoms occurring once per week for a duration of 1 month, in accordance with Rome IV criteria(children greater than 4 years) for functional constipation: a. 2 or fewer defecations in the toilet per week in a child of a developmental age at least 4 years. b. At least 1 episode of faecal incontinence per week. c. History of retentive posturing or excessive volitional stool retention. d. History of painful or hard bowel movements. e. Presence of large faecal mass in the rectum. f. History of large diameter stools that can obstruct the toilet.
