Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adolescent girls with anemia having hemoglobin levels between 8 to 11.9 g/dl, studying in selected govt. senior secondary schools in rural Ballabgarh block of Haryana.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Out of school adolescent girls, Girls with severe anemia, Girls who did blood donation in last 6 months, Girls who received IV iron or blood transfusion in last 6 months, Girls with known hemoglobinopathies, or diagnosed with any disease which can alter hemoglobin levels like CKD, CLD, etc.
