Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of PCOS is based on ESHRE guidelines, any 2 of the below if present Irregular menstrual cycles Clinical/ biochemical hyperandrogenism Polycystic ovarian morphology (PCOM)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Disorders showing similar clinical features like Cushing Syndrome, congential adrenal hyperplasia or androgen secreting tumors should be excluded to reach the diagnosis of Polycystic ovarian syndome. Hormonal contraception within 3 months and use of insulin sensitizing drugs (such as metformin, thiazolidinediones)within 6 months prior to study Use of lipid lowering drugs Known case of diabetes, Hypertension, thyroid disease, nephrolithiaisis or conditions resulting in hypercalcemia Pregnancy
