Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Residents of the selected community for atleast six months 2.Participants who know languages (English, Tamil) 3. Individuals who provide written inform consent to participate in the study 4.Participants who are able to comprehend and respond to the questionnaire. 5. Individuals willing to provide information on their Knowledge, Health beliefs.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Temporary residents or visitors to the community 2.Individuals with severe illness, psychiatric conditions that prevent them from responding to the questionnaire 3. Participants who have already been diagnosed with osteoporosis 4. Individuals working in health related fields (eg: doctor, nurse, dietitian s) to avoid bias due to higher baseline knowledge 5. Participants who fail to complete a significant portion of the questionnaire
