Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1. To isolate and quantify Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in patients with oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma 2. To investigate the kinetics of Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) with intraoperative tumor manipulation.Timepoint: 2 days | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1) To study the relationship between circulating tumor cells and tumor microenvironment. 2) To study the subsite wise distribution of number of CTCs. 3) To study the correlation of CTC with the clinical attributes (TNM stage, subsite, skin involvement, masticator space). 4) Planned subset analysis Difference in CTC kinetics in cohorts with Internal jugular vein ligation v/s preservation.Timepoint: 6 weeks | — |
