Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All the patients having a narrow maxillary arch as determined by Ashley Howe s model analysis. Patient exhibiting a complete set of permanent dentition (excluding third molars) Patient with no prior expansion treatment Patient with good periodontal health. No severe rotated teeth No metal allergies
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: History of maxillary trauma Patient with previous maxillary surgery Patients with congenital anomalies Patients with hypodontia in any quadrant excluding third molars Inadequate oral hygiene Patients with cleft lip cleft palate Non-compliant patient
