Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diabetic Patient having their Fasting blood glucose level more than 80 mg/dl and less than 120 mg/dl. Diabetic Patient having Post prandial blood glucose level more than 200 mg/dl and less than 350 mg/dl. Diabetic Patient having HbA1C more than 6.5% and less than 10.5% Patient who is taking only Metformin 500mg OD regulary.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Type 1 diabetes mellitus. Acromegaly, Cushing syndrome, pancreatic disorder, pregnant and lactating women, patient with gestational diabetes, patient suffering from k/c/o hepatic dysfunction, renal dysfunction or liver cirrhosis, those who are under insulin therapy (IDDM), patient with lactic acidosis, sepsis, patient with acute complications like hyperglycemic coma, ketoacidosis and infection like gangrene, patient with k/c/o nephropathy, neuropathy and retinopathy, gastrointestinal disease, tumors, acute MI, immune compromised disease (HIV)
