Interventions

Intervention1: Spleen merdian (Taiyin) massage for 21 days: A specific form of leg massage on the points along the spleen meridian as per the traditional chinese medicine will be given for 15 min/day

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Female subjects who are suffering from irregular menstruation Subjects who satisfies the screen tool i.e The international federation of gynecology and obstetrics (FIGO) 2018 criteria have been used to establish if menstrual cycle is regular or irregular.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with the history of any systemic and mental illness, under medications. Female participants with other systemic disorders like cardiovascular, renal, pulmonary, gastric disorders, and mental disorders. Participants with skin conditions. Participants undergoing any other modality of treatment for dysmenorrhea and PMS. A history of other diseases, including dysmenorrhea, thyroid disease, mastopathy, gynecological inflammation, hysterectomy or bilateral oophorectomy, cancer, or diabetes. A history of psychiatric disorders, such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, delusional mental disorder, organic mental disorder, psychotic features coordinated or uncoordinated with mood or bipolar disorder. Use of benzodiazepines, steroid compound, or other psychotropic drugs. Subject is lactating or pregnant. A history of alcohol or drug abuse or is a smoker.
