Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: We included adults with the first-ever clinically defined stroke of either gender aged between 35 and 70 years with sub-acute (7 days to 6 months) stroke survivors; according to Stroke Recovery and Round Table Consensus, 2017, Mini-Mental State Examination score more than 27, with sitting balance without support: minimum score 1 in accordance with the Postural Assessment Scale for Stroke, able to perform five times sit-to-stand test (cutoff score 20-40 seconds), and those who are willing to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: We excluded individuals with any systemic disease that could affect survival, uncooperative patients, bilateral clinical stroke, any conditions like mentally unstable patients, amputees, recurrent stroke, and those with any conditions precluding kinematic analysis.
