Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: In-patient of a tertiary care hospital who are 18 Years or Above. Understand and communicate in local language (Hindi & English)patient who are available for the admission day to till discharge for equal to more than 48 hours prior to extubation. Patient are on oral feeding

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Not willing to participate. patients with neuromuscular diseases. Patients who have undergone oral surgery or have oral cancer. Patient swallowing difficulty before intubation. Patient who are unable to follow instructions.
