Intervention1: scaling and root planing with active oxygen gel, scaling and root plqaning with metronidazole and chlorhexidine gel: scaling and root planing followed by subgingival delivery of active

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: periodontal patients having periodontal pockets and loss of attachment on at least three sites one per quadrant with radiographic evidence of bone loss cooperative and motivated patients committed to oral hygiene

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with poor oral hygiene Smokers and alcoholics Acute or chronic systemic diseases that could influence the outcome of periodontal therapy Patients on any long-term systemic therapy (antibiotics, steroids, anti-inflammatory, bisphosphonates, hormonal replacement therapy). Patients who had undergone periodontal therapy in past 6 months Pregnant and lactating women Any known allergy or hypersensitivity to any product used in the study
