Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18-60 years with modified Mallampati airway grade 1-2 Patients belonging to ASA- PS I- II Patients posted for elective laparoscopy surgery under general anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with difficulty airway Pregnancy and lactation Patients with severe intraoperative hemorrhage Patients who refused to participate.

MeasureTime frame
To observe the impact of changes in patient position on the values of BIS and entropy in patients under General anaesthesia. To assess the reliability of BIS and entropy values in detecting changes in anaesthesia depth due to patient positioning Timepoint: every 5 minutes initially then every 15 minutes

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess the hemodynamic variability with changes in patient position To assess the impact of patient position on anaesthetic requirement (need of propofol & fentanyl during general anaesthesis) To identify the optimal patient positioning strategy to minimize variation in BIS/entropy values & hemodynamic parameters in general anaesthesia. Timepoint: every 5 minutes initially then every 15 minutes
