Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects who are newly diagnosed as Hypothyroidism(within 1 year). Subjects between the age group of 18-60 years of either gender. Subjects who are willing to provide informed consent for the study. Subjects fit for Virechana karma.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects who had underwent any type of thyroid surgery. Subjects suffering from chronic illness that may interfere with the study (CKD, Cardiovascular diseases, Stroke, Carcinoma). Subjects diagnosed as Congenital Hypothyroidism. Pregnant women and lactating mothers. Drug induced Hypothyroidism(e.g. Amiodarone, Lithium, Interferon).

To observe the efficacy of standard of care in the management of Rasapradoshaja Vikara vis- -vis Hypothyroidism. To compare the combined effect of Virechana, Trayushanadya louha, Triphala kashaya and Standard of Care in the management of Rasapradoshaja Vikara vis- -vis Hypothyroidism. Timepoint: Before treatment : 0th day After treatment : 62nd to 74th day	—
