Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: all patients posted anorectal surgery under regional anesthesia. ASA 1-2 Patients.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any contraindication to spinal anaesthesia. Patient refusal. Coagulation disorders. Allergies to Lignocaine. Psychiatric illness. Inability to communicate with the patient Ongoing pain medication.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1)to evaluate the hemodynamic changes( heart rate, blood pressure) Spo2 in both the groups at 5 min before, at time of spinal needle puncture and 5 min after. 2)to observe the outcome of procedure- no of attempts ( single attempt, 1-2, more than 2) to observe the complication.Timepoint: 10 minutes
