Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: individuals of age between 20 - 60 years diagnosed with urdhwaga amlapitta as per diagnostic criteria of both gender attending OPD and IPD of Government Ayurveda College Hospital, Kannur

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with serious mental illnesses, malignancy of stomach and other chronic inflammatory gastric conditions

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Presence of Helicobacter Pylori in Urdhwaga Amlapitta will be assessed and condition will be staged based on severity of symptoms. Final data obtained will be analysed statisticallyTimepoint: 18 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Individuals with Urdhwaga Amlapitta tested positive for Helicobacter Pylori will be then staged based on severity of symptoms presentedTimepoint: 18 months
