Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed with moderate to severe meibomian gland dysfunction based on clinical examination. Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI) score more than 20. Tear breakup time (TBUT) less than 10 seconds. Fitzpatrick skin type scale Willingness to provide informed consent and adhere to study protocols.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of ocular surgery or trauma within the past six months. Active ocular infection or inflammation unrelated to DED. Use of contact lenses within two weeks prior to baseline assessment. Pregnancy or lactation. Known hypersensitivity to light-based therapies. Concurrent systemic conditions or medications that could interfere with the study outcomes, such as autoimmune diseases or retinoid use Having received any other prior treatment for dry eye disease in the form of medication or procedures
