Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Individuals between the age of 18-65 years and irrespective of their gender will be included. 2.Individuals Diagnosed with primary hypothyroidism within last 5 years, as confirmed by relevant medical records and clinical diagnosis. 3.Mild, moderate and severe cases of hypothyroidism will be selected. 4.Individual who had family history of hypothyroidism will also be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Cases which had doubtful origin of diseases or which did not compile with psychosomatic disorders were excluded from the study. 2.Cases with Thyroid cancer or thyroidectomy 3.Unstable medical conditions (e.g., cardiovascular disease)

assessment of psychosomatic symptoms in hypothyroid patients using a self-formulated questionnaire and the holmes and rahe life stress inventory.Timepoint: Retrospective analysis of patients diagnosed within the last five years, as per inclusion criteria.
