Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Adult patients aged 18 years or above with stage 4 or 5 CKD. 2) patients who consent for the study. 3) Suitable vascular anatomy confirmed by doppler usg, ie arterial and venous diameter greater than 2 mm. 4) No history of previous av fistula creation in intended arm.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Previous vascular surgery on target arm. 2) Inadequate arteries or veins for fistula creation. 3) H/O injection or blood sampling or injection in the arm where AV fistula is to be created. 4) patients with connective tissue disorders , vasculitis. 5) Pregnant and breastfeeding women are not allowed to participate 6) Patients not willing to participate in study.
