Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: This Study is a Three phased approach. PHASE - I: Prevalence of Gastrointestinal cancer patients with Dumping Syndrome. 1. All patients diagnosed with cancer and attending the OP and IP Oncology departments of the tertiary care hospital. 2. Patients aged 18 years and above. 3. All Types of Cancer. Patients who provide informed consent to participate in the study. 4. Hemodynamically stable patients. 5. Diagnosed at risk of Dumping syndrome using a validated questionnaire. PHASE - II and III: Nutritional Screening and Assessment and Tailored Dietary intervention with PHGG. 1. Patients diagnosed with GI cancers in the post operative condition and those who developed dumping syndrome. 2. Patients who are identified as being at nutritional risk using the NRS-2002 screening tool. 3. Patients who can perform functional assessment like Handgrip strength, calf circumference and body composition analysis. 4. Patients who agree to follow tailored diet chart with PHGG like Guar gum and Glycemic friendly diet as part of the intervention.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: This Study is a Three phased approach. PHASE - I: Prevalence of Gastrointestinal cancer patients with Dumping Syndrome. 1. Patients without a cancer diagnosis. 2. Patients under the age of 18 years. 3. Cancer patients not under the post operative condition. 4. Patients unwilling or unable to complete the required assessment. 5. Pregnant and Lactating women. 6. Not diagnosed at risk of dumping syndrome. PHASE - II and III: Nutritional Screening and Assessment and Tailored Dietary intervention with PHGG. 1. Patients diagnosed with other types of cancer and not developed dumping syndrome. 2. Patients with clinical condition that may hinder the effectiveness of the outcome. 3. Patients with severe physical or cognitive impairment that precludes accurate assessment or participation. 4. Patients with dietary restrictions or allergies that prevent them from consuming Tailored diet plans.

| The Patients who are taken for the study will be followed up every day for 6 weeks post nutritional intervention with Partially Hydrolysed Guar Gum and Glycemic friendly supplement during hospital stay and once discharged the patient will be monitored or followed up through regular hospital visits / phone calls for better management of the condition.Timepoint: 6 weeks | — |
