Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adults above 18 years Scheduled to undergo laparoscopic abdominal surgeries ASA physical status I , II ,III
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ASA equal to and more than IV Paediatric population Pregnant females History of a local anaesthetic allergy History of opioid or alcohol addiction Patients with coagulation abnormalities Conversion to open surgery Local infection at site of injection

Duration of effective analgesia will be calculated in minutes from the time block is given until the first dose of rescue analgesia is given 2. VAS score will be documented at 2 4 6 12 & 24 hours post surgery 3. Time taken to perform the block from skin insertion of needle to depostion of drug will be calculated in minutes | — |
