Intervention1: GROUP 1: Will receive dose of 25mcg/min of injection phenylephrine infusion intravenous intraoperatively from the time of administration of spinal anaesthesia till the end of surgery. C

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)ASA Grade I-III 2)Age 18-60 yrs 3)Patient undergoing infraumbilical surgery under spinal anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)ASA Grade greater than III 2)Pregnant female patients 3)Patients with history of allergy to study drug. 4)Patient refusal or unable to give consent 5)Any contraindication for spinal anaesthesia

MeasureTime frame
1)To determine incidence and severity of shivering. 2)To determine the effect of intravenous infusion of phenylephrine on core body temperature during infraumbilical surgeries under spinal anaesthesia. Timepoint: Following placement of spinal anaesthesia core body temperature, heart rate, mean arterial pressure, blood pressure, Spo2 shall be measured every 15 minutes till the end of the surgery.

MeasureTime frame
To determine the effect on Systolic Blood pressure, Diastolic Blood Pressure, Mean Arterial Pressure & Spo2Timepoint: Following placement of spinal anaesthesia core body temperature, heart rate, mean arterial pressure, blood pressure, Spo2 shall be measured every 15 minutes till the end of the surgery.
