Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with raw area of the foot post wound debridement of ulcer requiring skin grafting will be potential participants. They will be assessed to see if they meet the following inclusion criteria: 1. 2. Will be undergoing surgery Age ~18 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy. Not cognitively intact to consent to participation. Known immunodeficiency (HIV, leukaemia, etc), or haemolytic anaemia. Skin conditions or medications affecting skin thickness and quality (eg, prolonged corticosteroid use, autoimmune conditions of skin). Vascular disorders Chronic malnourishment.
