Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged between 18 to 60 years of T2DM with HbA1c greater than 6.5 or taking anti diabetic medications with minimum duration of 5 years of diagnosis and Healthy volunteers without T2DM.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any individuals with Type 1 diabetes. Patients with any significant comorbidities. Any patients with history of recent viral infection like HIV or hepatitis or others. Pregnant or lactating women patients and any patient taking alcohol or any drug abuse.
