Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients between age 18 to 35 years will be selected 2. Parturient women of either primi or multiparous, who had full term normal vaginal delivery with episiotomy will be selected.12 3. Those patients who will be ready to sign the inform consent form will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. 3rd and 4th degree perineal tear or injury to rectum/ urethra 2. Perineal skin infection 3. Diabetes Mellitus

To compare the efficacy of local application of Epi-cure gel & betadine in the management of episiotomy wound healing. To expose the new, safe, cheap & effective Ayurveda remedy for episiotomy wound healing in the form of gel. To develop a wound healing gel. To provide antiseptic, antibiotic & anti-inflammatory benefits Promotes faster healing, relief from perineal pain & discomfort.Timepoint: FOLLOW UP 15TH AND 21 DAY OF THE TREATMENT
