Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. People with paraplegia secondary to traumatic spinal cord injury of any duration. 2. Age 18-65 years, both genders, irrespective of level of injury, severity of injury, prior rehabilitation. 3. Pressure ulcer Grade 2 ,3 or 4 according to NPUAP are included in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. People with spinal cord injury due to non traumatic causes. 2. Patients with contraindication for HBOT absolute or relative such as COPD, previous spontaneous pneumothorax, pulmonary embolism,uncontrolled hypertension, chronic sinusitis, chronic otitis media, unstable angina, severe Congestive Heart Failure and claustrophobia.

MeasureTime frame
SCI -Pressure ulcer monitoring tool: Patients will be assessed according to SCI-PUMT score ,maximum score will be 26, higher the score more severe is the ulcerTimepoint: SCI PUMT score will be assessed on 0 week,2 week and 4 week

MeasureTime frame
Patients will be assessed according to SCIM score(0-100) , more the score more will be improvement in quality of lifeTimepoint: SCIM score will be assessed on 0 week,2 week & 4 week .
