Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a) Patient of age group 20 to 70 years of age irrespective of caste, religion, gender, habitat, occupation and socio economy status. b) Diagnosed patients of Pakshaghata as per classical lakshanas. c) Acute patient of Cerebrovascular accident 24 hours to 1 week, Sub acute patients 1 to 3 weeks and Chronic patients upto 1 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a) Only Ardita (According to Aacharya Charaka) b) Immunocompromised disease c) Guillain Barre syndrome d) Pregnancy & lactation. e) Intra cranial infection- Encephalitis, Meningitis, Cerebral tumour, Cerebral abscess. f) Congenital defects- Diffuse sclerosis, Cerebral agenesis. g) Any systemic illness intervening the study.

It will act as a baseline study to frame new treatment modalities in the Pakshaghata with special reference to Cerebrovascular accident in relation with red cell indices & platelet indices. Timepoint: 18 Months
