Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children who have been residing in a particular area, where air pollution levels are moderate to high, indicated by an Air Quality Index AQI 100 to 350. 2. Willing to participate in the aerobic exercise intervention and breathing exercise intervention. 3. Parental or guardian consent for participation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with a history of chronic respiratory conditions (e.g., asthma, bronchitis, cystic fibrosis). 2. Children with underlying cardiovascular, orthopaedic, neurological and any other health condition that would impact participation in the study protocol. 3. Children already engaged in regular high-intensity aerobic exercise. 4. Inability to comply with the study protocol.
