Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Adults aged 55-75 years. 2.Patients with American Society of Anaesthesiologists Physical Status I-II 3.Patients undergoing Elective Cataract surgery under Local anaesthesia, with a projected duration of less than 1 hour.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients not willing to participate in the study 2.American Society of Anaesthesiologists Physical Status III-IV 3.Patients with severe pulmonary, hepatic, cardiac or renal disease. 4.Patient with Type 2 Diabetes mellitus of Random blood sugar of more than 200mg/dl 5.Patients with Psychiatric disorder. 6.Patients with a history of chronic sedative use. 7.Patients currently using beta-blockers as a part of their treatment. 8.Chronic alcoholics 9.Patients with a history of substance abuse
